Not only do we offer eight dining options on board – all included in your cruise fare – but we also boast the most al fresco dining available at sea. With four restaurants, a Norwegian deli, private dining rooms and even a spot for afternoon tea on every ship, there’s plenty of exciting culinary variety both indoors and out, every day of your Viking voyage.

We think that food is one of the best ways to experience a destination, so we make sure to take your tastebuds travelling when you’re on board too. Our talented chefs are dedicated to creating unique dishes that reflect the destinations you are visiting, incorporating fresh ingredients sourced from local markets and suppliers at ports of call.

Our main dining venue, The Restaurant, features the widest menu choice on board, presenting fine cuisine amid a chic setting with sweeping views that make every meal all the more memorable. For something different, our alternative restaurants shine a spotlight on exciting regional specialties, while still catering to those western classic cravings.

Enjoy freshly prepared pasta and Chianti by the carafe at Manfredi’s; international fare at the World Café; a multi-course tasting menu with wine pairings with The Chef’s Table; gourmet burgers at the Pool Grill and afternoon tea and scones at the Wintergarden.

Our ocean ships even feature a traditional Norwegian deli, where you can enjoy delicious, light meals based on Torstein Hagen’s mother’s own recipes.

Oenophiles will be thrilled to know that vintage wines are always included with lunch and dinner, while after-dinner drinks, including rare Armagnacs, are available to purchase at our late-night bar, Torshavn.

A pianist, guitarist, violinist and cellist reside on our ocean ships, performing calming classical compositions throughout your voyage to set the mood and soothe your soul. When you’re in the mood for some toe-tapping entertainment, our Viking vocalists put on special themed performances in the Star Theatre such as The Beatles Songbook – bringing you the best of The Fab Four.
