What’s New in 2022

There is new hope on the horizon for cruising in 2022 and we eagerly anticipate a return to a more reliable and certain travel environment in the new year. We are proud to have successfully mapped a return to sailing in October 2020 and have operated over 90 incident free voyages around our home shores in Australia.

Our recipe for success has been the combination of our small ships and all Australian passenger numbers under 100 along with our industry leading SailSAFE plan. We have experienced interruptions along the way but have been steadfast in our efforts to continue cruising in a safe manner.

We are looking forward to the year ahead where we will continue to deploy our modern fleet of 3 vessels around the remote shorelines of Australia including Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef and what will be our largest ever season in The Kimberley with over 60 departures scheduled between April and October.

Late in the year we will make a return to international destinations commencing with Melanesia and New Zealand before a 2023 commencement of our annual programs into Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands, Sulawesi and the Small Islands of the Indian Ocean.

We are grateful to our loyal guests and crew for their support over the challenging period of the last 2 years. We have now been pioneering the way for expedition cruising for nearly 4 decades and we are looking forward to continuing the great adventures as our company grows.
