The Fleet

Carnival Cruise Line’s Australian fleet features fan favourite Carnival Spirit and Australia’s newest and largest year-round ship, Carnival Splendor.

Homeported in Australia since 2012 and featuring the unmistakable Green Thunder waterslide as well as 16 bars and lounges, Carnival Spirit introduced the fun of a Carnival cruise to Australia. Upon her scheduled return to Australian waters in 2021, Spirit will transition to her new Brisbane home, giving Queenslanders more opportunity than ever to experience all the fun that Carnival offers. You’ll be on a ship that’s nearly the length of three footy fields, full of things to experience. Whether you’re after an action-packed holiday or just want to relax and unwind, you can create whatever cruise holiday your heart desires. Carnival Spirit weighs 88,500 gross tons and holds 2,124 guests plus 930 crew. It has 12 decks with interior cabins, ocean view cabins, balcony cabins and suites.

Following an extensive Aussie transformation, Carnival Splendor arrived in her new homeport of Sydney in December 2019, becoming the newest and largest ship to call Australia home. Each onboard space was carefully designed to give you an amazing time for all that you are after. Carnival Splendor weighs 113,573 gross tons, is 952 ft long and holds 3012 guests plus 1150 crew. It has 14 decks with interior cabins, ocean view cabins, balcony cabins, suites and Cloud 9 spa cabins.
